We are so into Jill Stuart cosmetics now. It seems to be the in-thing for most girls. Their princess look packaging and attractive colors are simply gorgeous. They are now currently availble over counters only in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Getting from Japan is most expensive due to the high yen exchange rate. However, I got to admit that Japan's service standard is stil the best of the best. Moreover, I notice that the Jap sales girls are extremely careful with the product, wearing gloves before they open up and show you the product which you are purchasing, taking extreme care with the packaging.
If you had missed their 5th anniversary special items in Aug, our sources disclosed that another batch will be releasing again in 9 Oct. We simply love the crystal diamond powder and dew lip color which can also act as accessories.
It took our surprise that their Jewel Eye Color is simply fantastic. It glides on easily whether its on dry or oily skin and most importantly...it stays put.
The color and glitters are brilliant. With just 2 strokes and some highlights, its all we need. The glittery effect lasted more than 8 hours without touch-up! For a more dramatic effect for the night after usual work hours, we layer on by dabbing.
We tried:
02 Gold light - a light gold that gives warm to especially darker skin tone.
03 Platinum satin - a beige pinkish shade which is light and glittery.
08 Crystal sky - a deep voilet with dramatic feverish, tried with a evening gown...simply stunning.
10 Vintage decor - works hand in hand with 03 Platinum statin. Sometimes we layer Vintage decor on top of Platinum satin and vice versa.
In this very pic, we use only very little amount of the jewel eye color.
Using layering under shadows to achieve a more subtle shimmer and drmatic look. Whereas, wearing alone achieves soft shimmery eyes.
We especially love Platinum satin and Vintage decor which are so versatile.
We also did review on Jill Stuart skin care range. Their skin care simply smell great of berries. Simply a pamper. Our favourite are the berry scrub and the hydro-filler.
Berry scrub for the rich berry fragrance and fine particules. Hydro-filler for the light yet hydrating texture which is an answer to the skin's thirst.
