Get This Look: Beauty in Bloom

Spring is upon us, and with it comes more sunshine, longer, lazier days, and more saturated, brilliant color!  Our theme for May is "Beauty in Bloom," and with that in mind, I've put together a bright, colorful and easy-to-achieve makeup look.  By following the face chart along with the instructions, you'll find you have no trouble executing this beautiful Spring/Summer makeup application.

Face:

Start with Pur Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation with SPF 15 to even out your complexion so your eyes really stand out.

For the most natural look, use Japonesque Powder Brush to apply this wonder-powder to your t-zone, blending outward.

Eyes:

Now, it’s time to break out Too Faced Liquif-Eye Kit so your eyes can really “bloom!” This amazing palette has 12 gorgeous, highly pigmented shadows to choose from. It also comes with Liquif-Eye, so you can use any shadow as eye liner!

To achieve this colorful eye makeup look, begin by applying the violet shadow to your entire lid, blending up slightly past your crease, using Japonesque Medium Eye Shadow Fluff Brush.

Next, line your eyes using Liquif-Eye with the bright turquoise shadow. Be sure to line all the way around both the inner and outer corners of your eyes, pulling the color up onto the lid a bit on the outer corners. You’ll happily discover that when you use Liquif-Eye the colors show up even more vividly on the skin.

(Tip: For a softer look, skip Liquif-Eye and apply the turquoise shadow using Japonesque Angled Brow Definer Brush.
Now apply your favorite mascara (I like Too Faced Lash Injection in Black,) and take a look at your “bloomin’” fabulous eyes!

Cheeks:

For the cheeks we just need to add enough color to warm up the complexion. Use Arabella Stuart Duo Blusher in Two Sonnets for just the right effect.

Mix the two colors together and apply to the contours of your cheeks as well as the apples, starting at your ears.

Lips:

Princess Livia Define and Shine Lipcolor in Pink Cloud will give you just the right amount of color.
Use the pencil to outline your lips and lightly shade them in for a soft well-blended look.

Now coat them with the gloss (it is THE perfect pink,) and you’re all set!

Try this look at home and let us know how it turns out by leaving a comment.
